We're hosting our first-ever global happy hour - and we want your input!

We think virtual meetups are a great way to connect with people from all over the world, even if you can't meet in person. They can be a fun and informal way to socialize, learn new things, and build relationships.

We're planning to host our first-ever global happy hour! We want to know what you want to get out of it. Here are a few sample ideas to get you thinking:

• Networking: Virtual meetups are a great way to meet new people and expand your network. We want to encourage you to introduce yourself and share your interests. We're thinking of icebreaker games or activities for you to get to know each other.
  • Do you know any icebreaker games or activities you would like to play?

• Learning: Virtual meetups can be a great way to learn new things. We want to invite speakers to give presentations on topics that are relevant to you. We could also have group discussions or workshops. We'll be sure to make it interactive!
  • What topics would you be interested in hearing about? 

• Collaboration: Virtual meetups can be a great way to collaborate on projects or ideas. We can setup breakout rooms so that people can work together in smaller groups. We could also have a whiteboard or other shared space where people can brainstorm ideas.
  • Would you be interested in collaborating on projects or ideas? For example, we could use Zoom breakout rooms for engaging conversations. Or a Miro board for brainstorming ideas. Other?

• Fun and relaxation: Virtual meetups should be fun and relaxing! We won't forget to include some time for socializing and enjoying each other's company. We could play games, have a potluck, create something, or just chat.
  • Are you interested in group trivia or quizzes? Other fun, relaxing ideas?

The most important thing for us is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where people feel comfortable connecting with each other. We can't wait to hear you have to say!
